The Little Humbugs "2009 Best Bet" award from the CTTC.

The Canadian Toy Testing Council have awarded the Little Humbugs their highest rating for the Butterfly Girl dolls and books. Here's what they had to say:

"It's cool to care!" This wonderful concept captures little girl's imaginations and hearts. Join Lucy and her Little Humbug friends on a journey to help save our environment. These cute little Butterfly Girls come with their own line of adventure books and there are also Butterfly Girl plush dolls to collect. Each different Butterfly Girl comes with a soft, colourful cocoon which they are "nesting" inside. Pull the zipper on the cocoon and out pops a butterfly girl, with her silky wings and soft plush body. The small chapter books are full of adventure and come with a positive message about helping conserve our mother earth. Little environmentalists can log onto the Little Humbugs website and receive their free Butterfly Girl certificate!

" The children of the Canadian Toy Testing Council (CTTC) have given your toy a CTTC three star “***” rating – the highest level. This demonstrates excellence in all areas of function, design, durability, battery consumption, and most importantly, play value.

The CTTC is a non-profit organization evaluating toys for over 50 years and presenting the results to parents and consumers."

Thank you CTTC.

The Little Humbugs Wow the Green Living Show Visitors

Wildwood premiered Canada’s Butterfly Girl KATI at the Green Living Show on 29th Feb – 2nd March in Vancouver along with Jasmine the leader, Chloe the Gardener and Lucy the Bird Keeper. The dolls were a massive hit. “Meeting the public was so exciting for us, they were so grateful for providing a toy that had a meaningful message and positive role models for young girls,” remarked Marghanita after the Vancouver show. “When you get that kind of fantastic feedback from the public you know all the hard work has been worth it.”
“It was evident at the Green Living Show that there is a growing demand for alternative toys and books - kids, parents and grandparents were all captivated by Marghanita’s enchanting, brightly coloured book characters which were brought to life in doll form. Attracted by the colour and uniqueness of the product, they were impressed by the quality and it’s wholesomeness. When they were told the story about the Little Humbugs and their mission they said it was a dream gift to give to a child,” added David Hughes.
